Can I use the same voltage regulator that is mounted in engine compartment from the Tecumseh HH160 when putting Honda GX620 in? Not sure which amp the Honda puts out (they had 3 amp and 20 amp). I thought the Tecumseh had like 15amp output? just wondering if volt regulator/rectifier will work that the Tecumseh used? anybody done this swap?

Usually the regulator comes with the engine. Hard to say if they are compatible. If they are both 2-wire systems, they may be okay, but if you are putting 20 amps through a regulator that was designed for 15 amps, it may overheat and burn out.
If your Honda only has a 3 amp charging circuit, you will not be very happy with it, especially if your machine has lights. My Chonda was a 3 amp. I ended up installing a belt-driven 55 amp compact one-wire alternator. It was way cheaper and easier than upgrading to the 20 amp Honda alternator.
