stuck in float position

New to site first question........... I have a bobcat 843 with foot and hand controls and my pedal is stuck in this float position. I lowered safety bar to unlock foot controls and no luck. Please help........... Thank you in advance!!!!!!!!!!!! Dave

First I'd check that the linkage and hand opereated cables aren't siezed somewhere. If they are all working freely then the detent on the spool valve is stuck. I've uploaded the 843 parts and service manuals here http://www.mediafire.com/?85i9uvhbbb7m9 In the hydraulic system section it will show you how to repair the detent. The 843 came with ether a Cessna or a Melroe control valve and the repair is different depending on which one you have. Some people have been able to do the repairs without removing the whole control valve from the machine.
