The right side steering lever shakes violently when trying to start the machine. Once it starts (which is not easy) if you rev the engine up the shaking pretty much stops and you can somewhat use the machine. Has anyone had this problem and if so what was it and how hard is it to repair. Thanks

It sounds like you have more than one problem. We need more info, mainly what model machine you have. The shaking could be the ujoint, but that usually will shake both levers. Being its your right lever, could the aux hydraulics be partially engaged? That would explain the hard starting, and perhaps the shaking if the lever is "stuck" half way between normal and aux. Grab the lever and pull it sideways to the left and back to the right side to make sure it isnt stuck. Until more info is given were all just guessing.

Thanks for the replys, I was out of town last week so couldnt provide more info. The machine is a T190. Service Codes displayed are 2-16, 6-13. and it was the left side lever when sitting in it. It did have some creep and whining until you pulled the handles a little to center. The problem with the starting and shaking of the handle does seem to be in the positioning of the handle, I was able to start the machine by wiggling the handle around and finding center I guess. It did pull to one side a little but I was able to get it on trailer I lifted the cab and looked, The lever the linkage attaches to at the pump is clearly loose on that side, I cant tell how it attaches, I see no nut holding it on? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Code 2-16 means the sensor for the charge pressure isn't connected, 6-13 is engine speed too low likely meaning the rpm sensor is disconnected or bad. If it's been sitting rodents may have chewed on the wiring.
I think the 6-13 code should have shut the machine down after 30 seconds.
