I have read the service manual, and found old threads on this site about steering adjustments, so I am ready to tackle it. There is quite a bit of slop in my levers, suggesting that replacement of all the bushings would be a good idea, not just some adjustments. Does Bobcat sell a kit of replacement bushings, or do I need to disassemble, and order individual pieces ??

Not sure on a kit but the dealers should know what the common parts are. Ask them to print you out the exploded parts view and circle the common problems, then compare it with what you see at home.

I think the shaft the levers mount to on your machine has swivel bearings on both ends. They wear a lot and are not expensive to replace as long as you are doing the rest anyway.

The rubber and steel bushings do flog out too. As jerry pointed out, the self aligning bearings at the end of the shaft do wear too.

Have ordered all the bushings shown in the parts manual. Will let you know how everything turns out.
