Starter

New Holland L779 skid steer with the Perkins 4.203 engine. Does anyone know if there is some type of spacer block or shim that’s supposed to go between the starter and the mounting surface? Or possibly a part # for the starter? Any info would be great! Thanks!

looks like the starter # is 608032. Also substitute # is 857221. Parts spring were out of stock. Call a dealer and see if is available.

Thanks , yea I’ve been on the phone with a New Holland dealer and he is doing some digging to see if he can’t locate a spacer. I have a brand new starter here that i confirmed to be the right part #. Just got to track down the spacer or have one machined
