Bobcat 753G 660 hours. The last two out of three times different times while starting my machine cold. When turning the key over to start the machine, the starter would just click one time and not start. Then turning the key off and trying again, the machine would start right up as normal. Yesterday, after having the machine plugged in for a couple of hours I went to start it up and it clicked one time again. I repeated the process 4 or 5 times and the machine would just give one click each time. I went into the fusebox and pulled the starter relay and switched it with one that runs the rear lights. I tried the key and the machine started up like normal. I used the machine for cutting firewood yesterday and must have turned it on and off a dozen times without any trouble. Was the relay switching just a fluke? The starter relay I switched with the rear light relay, ran the rear lights so the relay isnt faulty. When the starter is turning over the machine, it sounds like new and the machine always starts almost instantly. I dont use the machine a whole lot, it normally sits for a week or two between each use. I keep the machine in a shed which isnt insulated, but I always plug in before using. For some reason when the starter acts up, its always the first cold start. Once warm, the machine always starts as it should. The battery was replaced this past fall. Thanks
