Erskine 1812 blower on a 763G skid steer,,,I have used this blower for about 10 hrs and really don't know alot about these blowers...was blowing snow and the blower just quit. I thought I plugged it up...cleaned it out and still can't get it to work. I can't turn the impeller or cross auger by hand and the chute and spout operate very slow. Anybody have any experience with these blowers about what could be wrong? Is there a way to disconect the hyd. motor from the gear box so I could get to the bottom of this or should I be looking at the solenoids on the blower? Pete

When you operate the hydraulics to ge tthe blower to work, does the machine make a whistle sound? like the oil is flowing over the relief and not going to the motor? It's possible something locked up. It would explain slow hydraulic operation to the other functions.

No..no whistle sound...when I operate the hyd. trigger I can see one of the hyd. hoses move but not the other. Pete

Just a possibility, i have a trencher that did the same thing, the machine wouldn't bog down when operating the hydraulics, a hose would twitch a little. Turned out the key sheared between the motor and drive sprocket.
Just a possibility.
It still doesn't explain the slow hydraulic operation of the rams though...

Got it fixed...crackedthe lines at the pump and it moved...found a bad coupler and changed it...everything works great now... Thanks for your help! Pete
