I was speaking to Levi, the owner of Loader Parts Source after i got an email with a how to replace a drive motor, he mentioned he is doing more of these videos in the coming weeks.
If anyone is interested, the link is http://www.loaderpartssource.com/kbase/
I have only watched a few videos so far, but it covers a few questions we get here on the forum a lot.

The couple I have watched, info is decent, but not 100% correct in all aspects. Example in explaining drive motor leaks. A plugged case drain filter will blow the brake cover off first, not leak threw the axle seal.

I never thought about that, i have never worked on a tracked machine.
Do all tracked machine have hydraulic brakes like bobcat do?

To my knowledge, most used a wet brake set up on the end of the motor. Some mini units like a mt55 or a toro dingo have a lock pin that will slide out into the sprocket tooth. I don't know of a full size that does it. Motor designs can very a bit. A bobcat uses direct drive to the sprocket where a Deere for example has a planetary gear set to drive the sprocket.
