skid steer basics

Hi all, New to this forum, (and, apparently, posting properly...) and skid steers. Well, actually I owned one about ...35 years back, for a short while, in the days of gas engines. I am wondering where there are resources, videos, tips or how to's on the web with regards to operating a 763, that I just bought. I have seen all the utube vids and google vids that I can find. I have a piece of land, and will be using it there, but want to know any special attachments or tricks to land clearing and landscaping that others may have. Most of my property is trees and brush. Is a toothed bucket good enough to remove brush? I have a smooth bucket, a toothed bucket and forks. tnx in advance. Wondering in BC..

I did see your post, not sure how you managed to post a blank topic thats for sure!
Anyways, the best thing is to play it really is. My first machine was a 731, i just spent some time driving it around and got used to all the functions. In most cases there is no rite or wrong way to operate it. The only things that matter is safety, ensure you keep your load as close to the ground as possible when moving, this will help prevent tipping. Keep the heaviest part up hill. So full load drive up, empety bucket, back up. The higher the bucket is off the ground the more “tippy” the machine is, you will quickly learn this. The higher the arms go up your centre of gravity goes backwards so if you are loading up a hill with the bucket in the air and remove the load you can start to tip backwards.
