Since I do nothing but snow removal with my 463 bought this used 55" bucket several years ago. Little quicker than the 44" bucket that comes with the 463. Welded in a new cutter bar and finally got around to adding a saver bar this week. Sidewalks in the neighborhood are only 48" so stole the 1/4" x 20" x 48" plate option from the internet. I always bolted it on with 8 bolts or so. The plate is mounted with about 14" in front of the cutter bar. I use a polyurethane edge on it to spare the sidewalks. Mounting it and taking it off was always a PIA so devised a better way. Cut and welded in two 1 1/8" sleeves through the bucket and bucket wear bars. The 7/8" bolts welded in the 1/4" plate were a little overkill but I had em in the bin. I used 3/16" x 4" flat stock, drilled 7/16" holes in both it and the plate to create a pinch point at the bucket cutter bar. I welded a 1" x 12" piece of flat stock to "bump" under the pinch plate with the bucket while it's all laying flat on the driveway. Once it tilted back and loaded I tighten everything up and shes good to go. No more struggling and lifting trying to line bolts up. http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn277/skayser2/sidewalkscraper2013001_zps01500a04.jpg http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn277/skayser2/sidewalkscraper2013002_zps9f9df7b6.jpg http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn277/skayser2/sidewalkscraper2013003_zps2ac98b94.jpg http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn277/skayser2/sidewalkscraper2013004_zps09d2b959.jpg
