Seems like there's numerous manuals out there. I see these two on Ebay, and both seem to apply to my machine... ser. # 525218*** 2005 model. I'm guessing the numbers after the parts numbers are when the manual came out? One is part number 6902732 (2-06) 933 pages One is part number 6901828 (3-06) 726 pages I can't find any other manuals that aren't above my serial number range, so I'm guessing these two are the ones that apply. Anybody know which one I should get? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bobcat-S175-S185-Turbo-High-Flow-Skid-Steer-Loader-Service-Manual-6902732-2-06-/330723517472 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bobcat-S175-S185-Turbo-High-Flow-Skid-Steer-Loader-Service-Manual-6901828-3-06-/330723517461

6902732 is the right one for your serial number. 6901828 covers serial numbers starting with 517, 518 or 519

Thanks. The Ebay ad shows it covering the same serial numbers as the other one.... but after seeing your post and searching around, I see that it covers mine for sure. They must have made a mistake in the Ebay ad. ON this same subject.... if you have the service manual... do you still need a parts manual, or does the service manual cover it all?

They don't cover each other.
If you need parts, it ie easier to order with the number you have in the manual, but you can talk to your dealer and they can e-mail or fax copies of the book to work out just what part you require. It's your choice if you bother buying a manual or not. If you don't have any major issues, i'd steer away from a parts manual if you want to save a few pennies.
