service code b-2.2 warning, battery voltage

Good day people. My 773 Bobcat skid steer is giving me starting problems. From the display panel when I turn the ignition key on, I am getting this service code ( b-2.2 ) which is described in the service manual as being a warning on battery voltage. When I try starting it, the starter makes a chatter sound as if the battery was dead. The battery is fully charged and I've cleaned all the connections to the battery and to the starter. Does anyone have any suggestions.

I'd try jumping the solenoid on the starter and see what happens. If it fires right up you have a wiring issue somewhere between the battery, ignition and starter. If it doesnt fire right up that tells you your starter or battery isnt doing its job.

The battery may show good voltage without a load, but the chattering noise is low voltage when it's being loaded.
I too would try a fresh battery or jump it to be sure.

I did try to jump the solenoid and it did turn but very slow so I am thinking battery also . Thanks reaperman and Tazza. I will try a fresh battery.

Thanks again my friends. Turns out that I had a dead cell in my old battery. Just installed a new battery and my skid steer started right up.
