Serial number

Posted this before but no response, I have a 4625SX and the serial number is on a little foil tag behind hoist cylinder and is mostly torn off, is the somewhere on these machines it is stamped?

Bringing this forward, anyone know the answer?

contact your gehl dealer, they would know, plus they can run the vin and tell you if it was ever reported stolen or not?
as many times when tags get torn or damaged it can be from folks that are trying to remove them and many times its not due to good reasons

I assume that he was really saying bobcat and meant gehl. I agree and they might tell you where any hiden ID numbers might be found also.
