Just FYI in case you run into this: Changed the starter ring gear the other day. No book. Figured out that you have to de-mount the engine, radiator, and main pump to facilitate this job. They don't have to be removed, just de-mounted and shoved about 2" to allow room for removal of the flywheel. I'm pretty proud of myself. First time on a longitudinally-mounted engine, alone, and no engine hoist or crane; just hand tools, lots of lumber, and a HUGE prybar. Took about 5 hours, but I did it!
