Hey guys, got a bobcat s630 with the lift valve not detenting back to nuetral when lifting. Are these detents dicey to work on? all I have is a parts diagram to go on, would I be having to take the whole spool out possibly? It's a manual valve unit.

I believe it should just be a spring and ball setup that holds it in place. No need to pull the control block out, you should be able to do it by removing the cap on the rear of the control block, lift segment. The hard part is getting everything back in place. There are metal balls with springs behind them, so they will want to escape on you.
The parts diagram shoudl show you a fair bit of detail of what's in there.
