I have an S300, last week I went to use it, raised the arms tilted the bucket down, it tilted and stayed there. The pedal feels like there is no range to push down with my heel and nothing really happens when I go toe down even though there is some range there for pedal movement...the bucket just wiggles a tiny bit. Along with this issue, when I raise the arms to a given point and return the pedal to neutral, where the arms should hold the position where I stopped them... The arms will now settle down a few inches instead of staying where I stopped them. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Raise the cab and check the linkages from the foot pedals to the control valve. Something could have come loose or they are binding on a critter nest in there

Beneath the peddle is clean and clear, i removed the side cover to view the linkage, everything appears connected. The peddle feels almost like it is stuck in that heel down position.

If the linkage is all good back to the control valve then likely the centering spring for the tilt section is broken and has jammed the tilt spool.

Can you direct me to that? Is that something I can correct?
I looked at the bobcat again last evening. The tilt pedal won't push down with my heel, it feels like it is against the floor... but it isnt. it will go push down with the toe movement but nothing happens. To raise the arms I actually have to rev up the engine. The fluid level in the sight glass is good.

Did you lift the cab and inspect the linkage all the way to the control valve? If its not a linkage problem then the control valve will likely need to be removed to be repaired.

Hello, I did not do that as of yet. With the side plate removed I can see the linkage where it comes through from the cab right back the control valve. It is best to raise the cab to remove the valve it take it? Thank you.
