S300 Hydraulic flow question

Hey there, Not sure how to attach a picture but on my S300 there are 3 hydraulic connection on the front plate. Can you guys tell me what each plug is and if the flow is going to or from the attachment Top to bottom (top is electrical attachment.) Then there is a large male, smaller male, and a very large female connect. Thanks

The two big ones are main oil flow, it depends on which way you tiggle the thumb switch as to what one oil flows out of and what returns it. The smaller one is for case drain. It has no pressure and is plumbed back to the hydraulic reserve tank. Some hydraulic motors have three hoses, this connects to the small one that returns oil that comes from normal internal leakage of the motor.

I assume your S300 is the same as my S650. If that is the case, in addition to what Tazza said, if you use the right hand trigger switch (not the thumb switch) to initiate continuous aux flow for items like snowblowers and backhoes, normal flow direction is out (supply) through the large female connector and back (return) through the large male connector.

i have found that the eiseast way to rember is female has the power, right thumb right or trigger pulled makes her come alive. lft thumb thumb reverses flow. for instance backing an auger out. the center one as statded is case drain, the beauty of new qds is when pushed in opens a path to tank reliveing press. stack. no more crackin lines or wigglin sticks. if you need futher details just ask.

I have to agree with you about the manifolds, push the coupler in to release pressure, it does make life so much easier.
