s250 oil

Just got a 2008 s250 with 700hrs on it but didnt get the owners manual and I'm wondering if I can use rotella 15/40 diesel oil in it. I use it in all of my other diesels with no problems but just want to make sure. Also, is there a cross for the factory oil filter to a napa gold or any other brands?

We have been using rotella or royal purple 15w40 in our kubota motors for years and have seen no Ill effects from doing so. In fact, aside from the motors that people for one reason or another managed to wind up submerging, we have had not problems with internals at all and we have thousands of hours on some units.
