I am trying to trace the white and black wires for my backup alarm back up under the cab. I want to put a switch up on my dash so I can turn the alarm off if needed. Does anywhere know where the wires go under the cab? The machine is joystick control.

There should be 2 microswitches activated by the steering linkages, these switches control the + power going to the alarm. This is where you could run your in cab switch wires to.

when i'm working residential and don't want to drive the neighbors crazy i just open the back door and unplug the door plug ..that also disables the lights though. if i wanted to keep my lights but have a switch for the bu alarm i'd put it right near the plug inside the back door or right near the bu alarm .

I might be wrong but I don't think the joystick machines have micro switches for the bu alarm. I was hoping by putting the switch in the cab I would be more likely to use it and not just forget about it and leave it off.
