Just bought a 2008 S220 used with 3900 hours. Machine had an easy life. Machine had never had any attachment on it that required aux hydraulics. I hooked up my root rake grapple, pushed the aux hydraulic button and the light came on, then tried to open the grapple and nothing moved. I have tried all the switches on the handles don't feel or hear any hydraulic flow on the machine. There was no fault alarm or code showing. Could this be an issue with a bad solenoid or stuck spools? Any help would be appreciated.

It could indeed be an issue with stuck spools or solenoids.
I'd lift the cab, remove the two nuts holding the coils on, with the ignition on, activate the aux hydraulics, lift the coils off the stems one at a time, as you activate the aux in one direction, one coil should resist, as it's being powered, reverse the direction of the switch and see if the other is pulling. If they both pull, it could be the stem or the spool in the control block (generally just the stem).
The stems can be dismantled and cleaned, they are very delicate, i have done it before, most people just put new ones in.
