Helpppppppp, from Australia, again. A few years back you guys got us out of trouble, needing your help again. Bobcat S185 Turbo Serial number 530314107 After approx 5 - 8 seconds of the bobcat running, the hydraulic light starts to flash, then stays on fully and thats when the bobcat gets a continuous long 15 second beep or more of a continuous tone bzzzzzzzz noise haha, the fault codes showing up are 05-14 and 05-15 so hydraulic pressure low is 14 and shutdown 15. We are really thinking a sensor in the hydraulics to cause this due to while the 20 seconds of operation is available, the bobcat can lift a huge bucket of stone, drop it, reverse, spin etc and has all of its normal functions. It doesn't drop back in power at any stage which is why we are thinking, mmmm, could be a faulty sensor. Just not sure which one. Sorry to be a pain, could you guys on here feed me any thoughts on what is happening with the fault codes, I have replaced all hydraulic fluids, the large hydraulic filter, near the fuel filler, and in that point, the hydraulic sensor underneath the hydraulic filter when I remove the connector, it gives 3 beeps and then the bobcat does exactly as it did as explained above with the long continuous tone(beeeeeeeeep) for 15 seconds, then turns off. I have checked all fuses, sprayed all loom connectors etc, but Im still not getting anywhere. At one stage, it would do the 15 second trick for 4-5 starts then it would decide, I'm good now and works for hours. Now it won't keep running no matter how many times we start. Any help would be so much appreciated, answers on here or my email is [email protected] anytime. Thanks in advance....cheers Brenton Tangambalanga North East Victoria Australia.

The sensor you replaced, is it a single wire sensor in the filter housing? If so try grounding that wire and see it will operate. You could actually have low charge pressure but still have all hydraulic functions. You need to confirm charge pressure with a gauge.

Thanks heaps for the advice, I need to research the right bits required and the procedure to check charge pressure. I am assuming the 3 sockets on the front, the middle one may be to measure charge pressure, will check manual..regarding the sensors, and there are two, I am waiting for stock to come in from the USA but one sensor to the left of the filter is a 2 wire(maybe 3, need to check) and the other is a single tag wire on the senor to the right of the filter. The single line i thought may have been hydraulic temp, I will try grounding that wire to see if we see any significant changes for sure....Any other suggestions always welcomed. My neighbor may have a charge pressure gauge as he is a mechanic, but its a hard call as he is not a bobcat specific mechanic, but fixes loads of tractors and excavators etc. cheers Brenton
