The machine in question is a 2005 S185 with keyless start. I was moving some snow this morning and the machine just died. It was like I hit the stop button while moving. Engine stopped, machine stopped...just dead. Now it wont initiate (my word for turning on and going into start mode) and I get a 76-73 code. I understand this is a left display error but don't know where the 9200/9212 wire is so I can check it. When I press the enter/run button, I get two beeps and the 76-73 code in the display just before everything goes blank. If I keep holding the enter button, the display will show REPLY after the 76-73 code. The battery is new, has less than 1 hour of run time on it and reads 12.47 volts. I tried jumping the machine with my truck and got the same results. I little back story. 1 week ago the machiune would not start due to a dead battery. I replaced the battery and it started and ran fine. The next day I changed the oil and filter. After the oil change I started the machine and ran it for a few minutes before I rechecked the oil level - all fine. This morning I started the machine to move some snow and all was well for about 20 minutes into my work and then it died BAM dead. The local dealer can't get a truck out to my place for "a few days" so I figured I'd try you guys for some help.

And now it's alive. Left it alone for 6 hours, came back and it started just fine. At least I can move it inside now to figure out WTF is going on.
The problem turned out to be a bad battery. Lesson lerarned? Try the easy/simple stuff first.
