Fellas: I have to ask this question, maybe dumb, but I gotta know. On my 03' S185 I see the (4) glow plugs appear to be in good shape, all tied together with a buss bar so to say, with just the one wire coming out of harness. This appears to be all factory wired? Now here in southern Minnesota it is 90 degrees. When I fire the rig up, now, I just get the one long tone, (Key switch)and off if fires. In the fall/winter, how do I activate these glow plugs, is it auto when temperature drops, or do I have to do it on my own? I watch hour meter, no countdown timer, but owner I purchased it from said watch hour meter and fire up when cold? Just dont understand this countdown meter, is it auto/manual or ??????? Thanks, Bruce

I believe it has a temperature sender that knows when its too cold and needs glowing.
I noticed the same, when its a warm day it doesn't count down, but in the cold of winter it does a 9 second count down.
