I have an S175 High Flow Turbo, I think a 2006, with about 2500 hours on it, and I'm getting some oil spitting from the dipstick tube when I pull the dipstick with engine running. Any pointers on what it might be or what I'm in for? Is any spitting acceptable, or is this a sign I have a cracked ring and do I need to do some serious work? Or could it be something simpler. How do I check the compression? The injector ports? Haven't worked on diesels that much, and I can't measure it at the spark plugs, now can I.
