S160 electrical problems

Hi, I can't figure out why both my rear work lights and back-up alarm doesn't work on my S160. I've checked the fuses and they are O.K. As for the relays, they seem to check out fine as well. Should I be checking elsewhere? Any and all input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

sounds like a ground issue but really could be anything. DC is tricky.

Haven't flipped the cab yet but will have a look but I'm not sure what to be looking for. Is it possible that both are on the same circuit? And what does DC stand for? Direct Current?? Thanks again.

Yes, I would say the problems are related. The ones on our 773 have never worked since we have had it either. Haven't lost any sleep over it. From what I have seen on used BC's, it seems to be a common system to fail early. It could be something mechanical, like a switch out of adjustment and not making contact. Flip the cab before going too much further, especially if this machine is new to you and you have not yet done so. Who knows what you might find.
