limited use in last couple months 1600 hrs. Machine died out yesterday. Drained fuel separator to lightly colored brown fluid. Replaced filter and was good for an hour of use.
today went to run and clear snow after half hr machine died. primer bulb collapsed. Unhooked out hose and tried pumping fuel to no go. Switched bulb around to blow into tank and check obstructions. None. Put bulb back around and checked fuel. 3/4 tanks. Ok maybe gauge goofy? Put like 8 gallons in it to full and pumped bulb right up. Started machine and will run for like 10 min and die. Pump bulb and good for another 10 min….. what gives?

sounds to me like you got a lot of dirt/crap in your tank
and after running w while its blocking your pick up filter in tank, causing it to not flow past, , but when you blew air in , it cleared it, un clogged filter, , then again run and it re clogs

I would suggest draining tank and making sure its clean inside!, then refill and see!

Odd thing is the bulb never pumps up hard. It just pumps up
How does 1 drain the tank to clean?

I am not familiar with your exact model
if you have a service manual, it should also, tell you how to drain your tank!

on many tanks there are drain plugs that can be removed to drain them, others, you can remove tank and drain,
or siphon out all you can, use a fluid transfer pump or likes

then get creative on how to clean out anything in it!, rags, shop vac's or???

also, if you drain it into a clear container, you can then verify if its dirty fuel or not, or using a screen

over time a LOT of debris gets into most tanks, its more common an issue than you may think!

same with getting water in a tank!

maybe worth watching
if not, do a search odds are there are more vids on showing how to drain tank or?/

Your model does have a drain plug.

There is a small access panel on the bottom of the machine between the rear tires.

It is not easy to get too unless you have an auto pit or can put the machine on Jack stands.

It’s also extremely messy. You’ll need a large drain pan, like a 40 gallon one depending on how much fuel you have in the machine.

Also, buy a new grommet for the plug. Most of them deteriorate as they get old.

just as a suggestion get a drill powered pump and get out as much fuel as you can through the filler neck into jerry cans so you do not have to deal with a full tank when you pull the drain plug. If there is room add some weight to the end of the suction hose to keep it from curling in the tank, as cold as it is that hose will be stiff. I assume that this is a deisel machine so a 120 volt drill is ok, if gas I would lean towards a battery drill.

So I had same issues today. 1 time bulb was collapsed but came around quick
I pulled the pickup tube- broke the hose fitting in the process. The tube was still connected- 1 with just a tube not 1 with the screen and check valve at the bottom.

So stumped. Could be dirty tank. Hoping for warmer weather for that

you can eleminate the machines tank by using a portable fuel tank like a smaller boat uses, I have used this method to get my machine outta the woods when my fuel pick up tube broke off in the tank. Just go directly to the inlet of the fuel filter and place tank higher than the engine.

That’s a good idea. Will have to source a tank for this.
I replaced the pickup tube and primer bulb. Machine idled fine for 15 min. Started using it and died out and collapsed primer
Disconnected primer and pumped up again- never rock hard ran for 15 min and died out again. Primer not collapsed. Pumped back up and seems ok……. Dumped some Hayes fuel treatment in tank

And now letting it idle
