Picked up a good condition 607 for my S130 and finally got around to installing the brackets (newer style) and trying it out. It took a little “bouncing” around to get the brackets over the hooks properly so I could lock in the levers, is this typical? the brackets can only mount one way and there is little or no play in lining up the mounting holes so I don't think they are mounted wrong. Once locked in they it worked fine and removing it took a little jiggleing as well, just wondering if this is typical

engage hydaulics and push boom down to and it will line itself up. be careful, it helps to have a 2nd person.
It's common for it to not tilt back quite far enough due to wear in the pivot points too. The idea of hooking it up and using the hoe to push it back is a good one, i have had to do that in the past to get it on my 743.
