The controller looks at the x and y axis to determine what you want to do. The earlier round base joysticks did have some problems. If you have that style, it would most likely to be recommend that the update kit be put in. I don't think the old style is even available. It's best to have a dealer do it. The software needs to be updated. Once the joysticks are replaced, they need to be facilitated also. Also be it, you technically don't need the laptop for that.</p></blockquote><p></p>
