I went to disassemble one of the lift cylinders on My Scat Trak 1700C so I could order some seals and to My surprise found piston rings on the hydraulic piston. I have only resealed a few cylinders but this is a first. Are these piston rings available or should I convert to a urethane type seal?
Hourmeter is just 2000 plus hours so I was also wondering if I just change the rubber/ urethane seals and not worry about the piston rings. Any advice would be appreciated.
