Repower 8875? Anyone?

Has anyone successfully repowered an 8875? Our 8875 has a hole in the block (Deere 3029T) and the engine is not readily available at all. I've also tried finding the Ford version which came in the LX885's to no avail.... Just curious what others have done?

I would maybe try looking online for a manufactured engine or contacting some salvage yards or places that sell used skid steer parts!
online searches will find some of these fort you!
or ebay, never know whats on there
also, if you have some really good dealers in your area, they may have links to finding them as well, but the price might scare you

I know, Messicks once told me they could get a reman engine for my L865 but was like 15grand or more 5+ yrs ago! making it worth more than the whole skid steer! HAHA!
