I am in need of replacing the seals on my hydraulic system spool valve for the tilt control of my bucket. I really don't want to drain all the fluid out of the system to do this...does anyone know if it is possible to pull the spool valve without draining the system?? How much fluid do you think I will lose??

Ive seen a shop vac used to keep the fluid in a tank on a big cat machine. duct tape the end of the hose onto the fill tube turn on the vac and do your repair one note this should be done quickly as the shop vac is working like the hose is plugged we burnt one up but it held 45 gallons in the tank when we pulled the pump out and replaced it good luck.
