A real rookie here and needin for veteran advice if yah can. My NH has some old hydraulic lines with some bad wear in spots. Before I pull em off to replace, anything that needs to be done to relieve pressure? Never done it before, is it something I could get in over my head or a manageable deal? Thanks a lot for any help!

Depending where its at if its your loader lines make sure you release the pressure. if its not any of those just take em off

Generally there won't be pressure stored in the lines when shut down.
The main thing to do is ensure the lift arms and bucket are sitting in the ground, so you don't have gravity pulling on the cylinders putting pressure in the lines. If you crack the fittings and wait for the fluid to stop pushing out, you'll be ok, it shouldnt be under high enough pressur eto cause you harm. The only harmful thing is disconnecting an extended cylinder with a load on it, it will fall and you can't stop it.
If it's a steel line, you don't always need to replace them, i have brazed up wear spots on hard metal lines before with great success.
