Replacing axle seals

I need to replace some leaking axle seals on my 7753. I fabricated a device to use as a hub puller which instead of a port-a-power, uses a bottle jack. The jack was a 2 ton jack and it coud not break the hub free. I even tried tapping on the hub with a sledge hammer, but it would not budge. I was considering to try again with a bigger bottle jack and maybe put some heat to it, but was wondering if anyone had any tips or trade secrets as to how to get these stubborn hubs off. I do not want to break anything. Appreciate any help.

Use two bottle jacks, one per side. Pump it up pretty tight and hit the head of the bolt a few times. It should pop off.
I have yet to find one that wouldn't come off. I'd use heat as a last resort.
I used a 2 tonne and 20 tonne jack, but the 20 was not used anywhere near it's full potential or else something would have bent:

After it looks like this:

This was done on a 751

My mistake, it appears i used three jacks, it must have been tight. This was quite a few years ago now.

That gives me another way to try to get this thing off. I actually fabricated a hub puller like the service manual showed, but instead of the port-of-power it showed, I used a single jack. Never thought of trying to push it off instead of pulling it off. Figured someone would have a good idea. Appreciate the info and pics. I love this forum.

I found this way worked pretty well, just be careful not to put too much pressure one one point and dent the chain case. You'd need to push pretty hard to do that though.
