Ok I did something stupid this afternoon, not realizing at the time that the yoke and pulley on the motor end of the spider joint for a Bobcat 722 was a one piece unit I put it in my 20 ton press to press the pulley portion of, seems how I did need the pulley with the motor I'm putting in it and that I broke the pulley groves in a couple of spots removing it from the old motor. Well long story short I found out it was a one piece cast iron unit when it broke it to three (3) pieces. I have found replacement yokes but at the with the $200 price tag I'd like to explore cheaper options. I've found a Caterpillar yoke that looks similar in photos for a lot less. Does anyone know if they are interchangeable? Bobcat part # 6554829 vs Caterpillar part # 0659203. I've done a web search and was unable to find any results. Thanks, Mike

$200 seems reasonable to me, i actually expected a lot more than that from the dealer for a machine of that age.

For those of you who are curious on this I ordered the Caterpillar yoke, everything lines up perfectly. The "problem" is that the bolt holes in the Caterpillar yoke are not threaded like the bolt holes in the Bobcat yoke. Minor problem that is easily fixed by longer bolts and nuts. At a cost of $30 Vs. $200 it was well worth it. Bobcat yoke part # 6554829 vs Caterpillar yoke part # 0659203 are indeed interchangeable.

A few longer bolts to save $170, i think that is full of win. Good job!
