Where is the best place to get a replacement tilt cylinder for a 743?

Going to guess you snapped the rod like all 743 do. Have a hydraulic shop that specializes in cylinder repair look at it. There are at least four different tilt cylinders used on 743 threw out the years. Some things for some cylinders are no longer available and if they are, stupid expensive from Bobcat.

Mine was replaced. I think the stroke was 16, maybe to long.Do you know how long the stroke is suppose to be?

Not off the top of my head, no. Not even sure wear Bobcat would have published a spec on it.
