Does anyone know how to purchase a remote start box, to allow for starting a John Deere 240 while the ROPS is raised? The part number is JT0KV12444.

Won't the dealer sell you one? The remote start box is pretty simple, if you could borrow one for a few days, you copy and build one.

Hi All,
I have a John Deere 270 Skid Steer and need to adjust the steering. When I lift the tops, get the machine off the ground, disable seat switch and fasten to seat belt. The parking brake won't turn off therefore impossible to adjust the steering. Any Ideas. Do I need a remote box to do this?
