Remote service cable???

What do they call that electrical cable that allows a mechanic to start a Bobcat when the cage is up? And where might I find one - other than at a high-dollar Bobcat dealer that is! What is this called, and how big of a range (year-wise) will it work on?? I'm mostly interested in the 743-873 Bobcats. I'd like to have one of those things.

Remote start kit? or something to that effect
I have seen them on ebay every so often, i'd think they could be made easily enough.
For a 743, you could wire up a switch to jump between +ve and the small pin on the starter, it would start it. The later models are a little harder as they have electric shut off.
