In keeping with my fondness for asking dumb questions... Does anybody know what the rear window in my Thomas T133 loader is made of? I doubt that it is glass... it just doesn't feel like glass. Maybe Plexiglas or Lexan? It is so badly smoked that you can't really see through it, which makes backing-up a heart racing experience.
I tried polishing it... like you would a soft window in a convertible top... and that helped a bit, but it is still nowhere near clear. Any ideas?

I thought most of them are lexan because its so tough. But then again, to cut costs, it could be just perspex.
My bobcat has two different ones. The roof has plastic, be it perspex or lexan i have no idea. The rear window was toughened glass, i only know this as it was all crumbled like a car window does when broken.

I replaced the rear window on my T243HDS with lexan..
I used an abrasive disc to cut it to size and siliconed it in.
The old one was yellowed and very opaque.
