Rear view camera and LCD in winter

I need a rear view camera for my skid steer for snow removal, but I am concerned about how well any such unit will survive winter conditions. I have an enclosed cab with heater and typically I have lots of condensation dripping down inside the cab once the machine warms up. Has anyone used a non-waterproof monitor under this sort of condition and had it last through the winter?

I have had one in mine now for three winters and no problem. I will say though at times it does not really show the border between what you have plowed and what you have not, just because of lack of contrast everything is white. Makes no difference whether you have a expensive unit or cheap if you have a fish eye camera snow is hard to see. On the road a car approaching from the rear will look quite a distance away till the last moment. maybe a different type of camera would solve some of this.

Can you tell me whether your machine drips water on the LCD monitor. I seem to have a continual problem with that. I think because I track in snow, the heater melts and vaporizes the snow, and then it condenses and drips off the roof.
