I had to take the old rear axle out on our 610 Bobcat. I am in the middle of replaceing it and I am having a hard time getting the axle to slide into the bearing. Any suggestions? How do I get the bearing to fit snug without it falling out as I put the axle in?

I gave this sugestion to Chris in a email but I thought I would post it also for future reference.
Coat the bearing with heavy grease and it will stay in place to insert the axle.

if you have acces to inside put brg in line up sprocket jam in place ,wood porta pwr? eyeball from outside. and find sweet spot. shell go. the outer seal can pulled in by placing a shim on out side ax hub. a race cut in half will work. a spring would be ideal,
