Lost power to passenger side track on my 98 4520. Check pressure at drive motor and had almost 4000 psi, thought motor was bad, but while removing it notice planetary was separating. Had a local mechanic look at it, and he thought we could rebuild it with a parts breakdown of what to get. It is an Auburn 21. 74:1. Can anyone help? Thanks.I apologize that I didn't reply sooner but I haven't been on here in awhile. First check your wiring. I cannot remember if the RC100 had fly by wire controls or not.
THen you get to check you brakes. ASV uses a hydraulic cylinder that pushes a rod into your plantary sprocket to stop it. If that is engaged you need to figure out why its not dis-engaging.
Next guess is your plantetary failed. This happened to my ASV 4810. I listed how I got mine off in another thread under ASV so look for it and that will give you the rough on how to get it out and what to replace. If your lucky its just a few bearing. If your not its a whole new planetary.
Good Luck and keep asking questions. this forum has been very helpful too me.
