Does anyone know what pressure rating the radiator cap should be on a 743?
I have 2 different ones, one reads 16 PSI the other reads 6 PSI (quite a big difference). The number is stamped on the top of the cap, there are 2 numbers. The one on the top is PSI the bottom one is KPA. I don't see a problem running a lower pressure cap but i don't know alot about this area. About all i know is they pressurize the coolant to increase the boiling point. Will a lower pressure cause a problem if i can't find the correct pressure rating?
