R7404 code on e26 excavator

Bought a used e26 not long ago. Have been having issues with it running. Some days it will start fine and run and other days it starts up and runs about a minute and shuts off. Throws a R7404 code and the screen flashes off and on. Any ideas if it's the gateway controller bad or something else

The error code I found for R7404 is : Main Controller No Communication

I would check for bad connections or wire rub throughs. Check the pins in the connectors real close and clean them before reconnecting and see if that helps.

I am not familiar with that specific machine so take this advise with a grain of salt.

Were you able to figure this out? I'm having the same issue and have not found much help. I'm thinking my display could be bad but have not been able to get it out.
