Hello to all. This sure looks like a good site to join. I have a lot of questions. I bought a M600 a while back that was in poor condition. I never used it. For one thing, all four axle seals were leaking badly. So I replaced all of the axle seals.(not a fun job, to say the least). Now that the hubs are in, I was wondering how tight the axle nut should be to the sprocket ??(with the dead soft washer between them). Also the variable speed drive pulley splines are VERY worn, so basically it is toast. Does anyone know where to get one for a reasonable cost??. The local Bobcat dealer wants a little over 1100$ for one. You gotta be kiddin me!!! He asked me if I was sitting down before he quoted the price to me. LOL .. If I am up against prices like that, I will sell it. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

I have no idea on a M600. Just did the axle seals on my 825. Manual says to tighten the axle nut till there is no play in the axle, then tighten to the first point where you can get the lock bolt through. I have an old neighbour who is equipment savy and said the more you tighten them, the more force you apply to the tapered bearings. Not even sure if the set up is similar, but hope it helps. On the pulley I have no clue. This is a great sight with some very helpful people so someone will lead you down theright trail. Good Luck.
