Buckshot, you responded earlier about my bobcat 610 and trying to fit more modern 16.5" rims with 10" tires. You said you cut the centers out of old chevy wheels and made the offset needed. Im just curious what the depth is that you have measuring with a straight edge across the rim on the side away from the machine to the hub. I bought a set of 16.5" skidsteer wheels for 10" tires off ebay and ground the welds off to remove the center and reweld where needed to get the clearance. I know you said you've never had a problem but i'm concerned about them being such a deepdish rim and folding over themselves, though they are pretty solid rims. Its just hard to hack up a $400 set of wheels, and I would feel a lot better hearing what you have to say. Thanks!

Yzracer239, The plate I used is welded flush to the inside of the wheel. I have no off set. If you put your straight edge across the inside of the wheel the plate is on the same dimension and flush with the outer rim of the wheel. If anyone can tell me how to post some pictures I can show you what the wheels look like. Otherwise send me a pm with your e mail and I will send you the pictures. Have fun buckshot

By the way, I don't think I would cut up bobcat wheels before looking into getting some old 16.5 chevy wheels for about $5 or $10 bucks a piece. You may be able to get your money back or at least some of it. Remember I made these wheels 25 years ago and have never had a problem with them. As a matter of fact that is also how long I have had my foam filled tires mounted on these wheels. Have fun, buckshot

I think to add photos you need to go to the very top of the page and click on "photos". Then at the next step look on the right side of the screen and click "add photos" select the photos from your files , and put them up. I have not done it, but I think that is how it works. I'm way better with a wrench than a computer. LOL

yes buckshot I would really love some pics of the wheels. More the merrier. Still unsure...you say you have a 610 with 16.5 x 8" wheels with the rim plate welded in the center?? Dont see how that could be. Mine rims were just about 0 offset and hit the machine with just the rim. Please help
