i'd like to replace the headlights in my 643. does any other company sell lights that hang from the rubber grommets like the OEM ones or is bobcat my only choice?

They are a standard bulb, i just don't know what style they are.... Can you try taking a sample to a lighting shop?
I have bought mine aftermarket without any issues

I don't know about the rubber mounting, but the sealed beam i know can be bought easily. Not sure what the dealer wants for the rubber mount, you may be surprised?

it seams like the whole thing with the rubber mounting is a sealed unit, i didn't know you could remove the bulb. i want to change to the rectangular lights to make the machine look a little newer (stupid, i know haha)
