I'm slowly trying to restore my 630 and I'd like to pull the motor out to have better access to cleaning it and the engine compartment before I paint. Seems the sleave is rusted and it is stuck to the pump. I'd rather not pull the pump as well so I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas or tricks to free it up?
And yes 7lbsallie I know you think it should probably just become a boat mooring ;-)
Thanks in advance
Andy

I would spray down with a good pentraiting oil like kroil or at least PB blaster. Don't waste your time with WD 40. Also i think a 630 would make a good anchor too, ha ha.

if you are that detirmed get out the smoke wrench. always rember ( it might go easy or it might go hard but it will go) and if it breaks it needed replacing anyway.
My buddy in South Africa calls it the Afrox milling machine.
We call it the hot wrench around here.
Good luck with the resto, post lots of pics!!
