have a L 1200 machine that left side drive not operating. My son had drive motor rebuilt a few years ago with no help. Machine has sat for a while. Just checked linkage at valve and found clamp at valve spool slipping on shaft and cleaned and tightened. This helped a bit, but still not right. Is this a common ailment?
