Suggestions please: What do I need to look for in a gauge to test hydro pressure? (I know nothing.)

Light goes off after start but comes back during use. Machine operates normally with no unusual noises. Have yet to look for simple issues (loose wire) but thinking I may need to check pressure. Oil level is fine. Just cleaned mesh filter but have restarted since.

Where are hydro pressure and temp switches?

Engine pressure light is also coming on but I’m fairly sure that’s a wiring issue. Not sure if that could affect hydro light in any way.

Hey man,
I'd definitely check that engine light wiring first, as you mentioned. Sometimes, one bad ground or a loose wire can make other lights act crazy. It's a good place to start before you buy any tools.
If you do need a gauge, you'll want a hydraulic one that goes up to 5000 PSI to be safe.
Good luck! Hope you get it sorted out.
