Thought it was running out of fuel so i changed the filter, but no luck ,after bout 5 min of running it wants to die when under a load feels really weak and it is a t250 with 1000hrs maybe lift pump???????

Is there any other filters on the machine? My LB 75 Backhoe has two other filters, a glass bowl and a small filter screen. I almost missed the one, however having the presents of mind to read the manual, you know, that thing you throw in the drawer and never look at until it is to late. I took the filter cover off, cleaned out the sceen and replaced it. This filter is a small pre-filter and it seems to trap the slime that grows in deisel tanks. Joe

there is only the one fuel filter .. is the primer bulb sucking flat ? possible pinched fuel line or the lift pump is getting weak

The bulb is really really hard to pump but it dont suck flat.I also cracked the fuel cap to see if it was not venting but that didnt help either.I am betting on the lift pump.Is it in the tank ?

Take a compresion test......good luck

On my old 763 it had a thumbscrew to bleed the injector pump, and it rattled loose and sucked air through there. The simple fix was just tighten the thumbscrew!

I just have to mention it, such a simple thing and I was changing the fuel pickup line, looking for something tough.
